Biography

Colleen De Neve has been a working photographer since 1993 when she graduated from Loyalist College of Applied Arts and Technology’s Photojournalism program.

Over the past 19 years, her specialty of newspaper photojournalism has blossomed into a new passion of capturing special moments of a couple’s big day as they start the rest of their lives together. Photographs live on for eternity and Colleen loves to freeze those moments for everyone to enjoy in a true photojournalism style. She has photographed weddings for couples around Canada, in Mexico and as far abroad as Australia.

After starting her own family, Colleen has also expanded her photographic realm to include babies and families around Calgary. She currently lives and works in the Calgary area where she is a staff photographer at the Calgary Herald when not photographing weddings and portraits.
